Biography Mary Dunn was born and raised in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. Ever since she can remember, she had a desire to create art which has been with her throughout her life. Mary graduated with honors in 1991 from Carlow College with a BA in Business and continued her education receiving her Master’s at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School with a degree in Public Management and graduated with distinction. While attending Carlow, she focused on art and theology along with her business degree. Her art classes helped her to hone her skills. Recently, she has devoted more time to her love of art by focusing on various mediums that include oils, pastels and watercolors. As a professional artist, this web site is designed to be a portfolio of her work since 1988. These works transcend from her college studies to now. As you look at her work, know that before each piece, Mary reflects on the gift God has bestowed upon her, and she is guided by her faith in God and Jesus Christ her savior. It is Mary’s hope that through her creativity, one may learn that each person has a gift to give joy to others whether it is through art or friendship.
