Life certainly hasn’t slowed down since January. I have may exciting events coming up in the next few months. Currently, I am working on an exhibit that I entered in Chicago, IL. In addition to that, I have put together an exhibit of pastel painting that will be exhibited in July at the Iris and Ivory Tea Room. Because of the amount of work I have been doing in preparation for the exhibits, I had to resign from Heart Beat Magazine.

Then, my oldest daughter decided it was time to marry her longtime fiancé. Preparing for the wedding certainly was stressful, but it turned out to be a very nice event. The wedding took place in Pittsburgh at the Phipps Conservatory on June 27, 2008. If that wasn’t enough, my mom has suffered with two bouts of congestive heart failure. This has limited my time working on any paintings. Hopefully, I will soon get back to my creativity. |

Summer has been very busy as I have been painting several new works. I just finished my exhibit in Chicago at the Galaxie. Now, I am working on some watercolors and just enjoying the summer months. Recently, I had an exhibit at the Iris and Ivory Tea Room in Indianola, PA. During the exhibit, I sold one of my paintings.
